Born April 1, 1935 in Bremen, Georgia. Arlin served in the U.S. Air Force for 21 years, living in California, The Philippines, New Mexico and Washington State. After retiring from the USAF, he worked as a policeman for the Georgia Institute of Technology for 22 years before retiring in 1995.
After retirement, Arlin and his wife Shirley enjoyed traveling, spending time with their children, grandchildren and great-grandchild.
Arlin was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley in 2013. He is survived by his children, Catherine Kesler (Roger), Barbara Black, and Michael Parrott, his grandchildren, Liza Kesler, Eleyna Morris (Sam) and Dallas Kesler; great grandchild, Sadie Morris; his sister Evelyn Murphy (Pete) and brother James Parrott(Ann); and his canine companion Jinnie.
There will be a visitation on Tuesday, December 16 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. At Georgia Memorial Park in Marietta, Georgia. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, December, 17, 2014 at 1:00 P.M., with internment following.
