Betty Forrest was a native Californian born in 1934 who grew up in Los Angeles. She studied dancing and acting as a child and was in many movies in the 1940's such as "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn". She studied business administration at UCLA and also worked for a time as a flight attendant for Pan Am and TWA, enjoying travel to places such as Hawaii and Japan.
Betty married her husband Dr. Robert Forrest, an ophthalmologist and Army veteran, in 1959. They met on the Snowball Express, a party train that carried California travelers to the ski resort in Sun Valley, Idaho.
Betty and Bob enjoyed traveling abroad, skiing, theatre and philanthropy. Betty was a longtime member of PEO, Assistance League and a member of support groups for the Orange County Performing Arts Center, of which they were founding members.
Betty is predeceased by her husband Bob and her parents Clarence and Ellen. She is survived by her children Steve (Denise) and Sheri, her grandchildren Daniel (Anna) and Katherine (Chad) and great-granddaughter Isabella.
She will be greatly missed by friends and family in California and Georgia.
