Betty Jo Hannah

Mrs. Betty Jo Morris Hannah, age 91, of Austell, Georgia went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 9, 2026. Betty was born On February 27, 1934 in Buchanan, Georgia to the late Joseph Matthew Morris and Reather Estelle Morris. She was raised in Rockmart, Georgia, where she attended the Rockmart Church of Christ. A loving homemaker, she enjoyed cooking and cherished time spent with her children and grandchildren. She loved growing flowers, especially roses. She was famous for her big azalea bushes in the front yard each year at Easter. She was an avid Braves fan and enjoyed watching other sports as well. She and her husband enjoyed taking grandchildren to spring training with them each year they were able to go.

Betty has been reunited with her husband, Joshua Theodore Hannah, her daughter, Debbie Lynn Gazaway, and her sister Kathryn Brumbelow, and nephew Donald Brumbelow

Betty is survived by two daughters, Susan Kaye Morgan, Teresa Beth Smith (Buddy), Eddie Gazaway (son-in-law) grandchildren, Jeremy Wallin (Jayme), Matt Wallin, Brad Smith and Blaire Abadie (Jacque). Great grandchildren, Carson Boyd (Matt), Connor Wallin (Brianna), Ella Mendoza (Bradley), Hannah Smith, Kate Smith, Turner Abadie and Ella Abadie. Great Great Granddaughters Amelia Elise Boyd and Ivy Novene Boyd.

A Celebration of Life! for Mrs. Hannah will be held Saturday, February 14, 2026 at 11:00 in the chapel at the Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home & Cemetery, 2000 Cobb Parkway South, Marietta, Georgia, 30060, with Jacque Abadie officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, February 14, 2026 from 10:00 am. until the funeral hour.

Pallbearers will include, Jacque Abadie, Turner Abadie, Lamar Chapman, Jaime Juarez, Brad Smith, Jeremy Wallin and Gary Prosser.

The Committal Service will take place at Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home & Cemetery on February 14, 2026, at 12:00 pm.
