Mr. Hatley served in the U.S. Army before graduating from Pfeiffer University. He was a senior financial advisor, owned a successful restaurant, and visited the far corners of six continents on his around-the-world travels. Mr. Hatley loved his family dearly.
Survivors include his multi-decade friend, Barbara Tankersley; his brother, Jerry Hatley; the mother of his children, Joan Hatley; his children, Michelle (David) Cox, and John (Paige) Hatley; his grandchildren, Margaret Cox, William Hatley, and Henry Hatley.
Funeral services with military honors will be held at Georgia National Cemetery on June 17, 2022 with a Celebration of Life following at Dunwoody Baptist Church Chapel at 2:30 pm.
