Mr. Billy Bruce Ford Jr. age 77 of Marietta died Sunday, August 31, 2014. Funeral services will be held 1 pm Thursday at Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel Rev. officiating. Mr. Ford will be Interred beside his wife Mary Elizabeth Ford at Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery.
Born in Opelika, Alabama. A retired carpenter, Mr. Ford had worked for the State of Georgia and Rich’s Department Stores. He was a hard worker that took pride in his craftsmanship. He could always find a way to talk about cars and enjoy car shows. He loved his grandchildren and family. He has several hobbies including fishing, hunting, and music. He was a regular visitor at Pat Mell Barber Shop in Smyrna.

Daughter – Rhonda Lummus of Acworth
2 Sisters – Norma Weichman of Shalimar, FL; Annette Rio of Portugal
3 grandchildren – Brandon Jones, Madison Lummus and Hannah Ford
1 great granddaughter Payton Jones
Family will receive friends from 4 till 8 pm Wednesday at Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home.
