Blaine Christopher Etzbach of Marietta, Georgia, age 34, beloved son, brother and uncle has left us unexpectedly. He is mourned by his parents, Jim and Linda Etzbach; his sister, Danielle Etzbach; his brother James Etzbach, Jr. and his wife Jamie; Blaine’s niece and nephew, Averie and Nathan; an aunt and many adoring cousins. Blaine graduated from Walton High School in 2002, and became an IT professional. Most recently, Blaine was a Systems Engineer with Fidelity National Information Services, Inc. (FIS) in Atlanta, Georgia and he loved his job. In his spare time, Blaine enjoyed playing video games, watching movies, fishing, and jet skiing on Lake Lanier. He will be missed by all who knew him and leaves a huge hole in the hearts of his family. We love you, Blaine.
A memorial service will be held December 22, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at H.M. Patterson & Son-Canton Hill Chapel in Marietta.
In lieu of flowers, please honor Blaine with donations to Child’s Play Charity, a game industry charity dedicated to improving the lives of children with toys and games; The Children’s Healthcare Atlanta Wish list , or Furkids Animal Rescue and Shelter, a no-kill dog and cat shelter headquartered in Atlanta.
