Bobbie Bliven of Winder, Georgia, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2025, at the age of 92. Born on June 18, 1933, Bobbie lived a life marked by resilience and love for her family.
She enjoyed a long and fulfilling career with the Marietta Daily Journal and later with Cobb EMC, where she was known for her warmth and unwavering work ethic.
Bobbie was preceded in death by her beloved children: Jeff Bliven, Robert “Bebop” Bliven, and Lynn Bliven Scott; her cherished grandson Shane Bliven; four of her sisters; and her only brother. Their memories remained close to her heart throughout her life.
She is survived by her youngest sister, Debra Brown; her grandchildren Valerie Bliven, Dayton Bliven, J.T. Bliven, and Brandon Bliven; five great-grandchildren; and a large extended family of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
In accordance with her wishes, Bobbie will be cremated. A private memorial service will be held at a later date, where she will be laid to rest alongside her children and grandson.
Bobbie will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
