Carl F. Stein, Jr. 87, of Marietta, passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2020. He was preceded in death by his wife Vivian K. Stein and is survived by his daughter Nancy S. Higgins (Christopher R. Higgins). Carl was a longtime postal carrier in the Smyrna, Ga area and was retired from the Georgia Army National Guard. Carl was an avid reader, had an affinity for civil war history and will be missed for his quiet humor and wry smile. In Lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to the Emory University Movement Disorders Program. A memorial service to be determined later.
