We were so privileged to have Carol as a member of our tennis team for many years. There was something truly special about her. Carol just made me smile every time she came out on the courts, and we greeted each other. Even on days when she wasn't playing a match, she'd come out to support us and cheer us on. I really admired her zest for a life well-lived. I will always remember the last day we played and how we sat around eating lunch afterward, and she talked about her kids and grandkids. I also will never forget when we visited her in the hospital, and she greeted me in that wonderful, sunny way she had and even joked with us - "Squeeze accepted." I will miss her. Please accept my most sincere condolences. I had the pleasure of working with Carol for many years at LOMA. Not only was she a great lady, she was also the best colleague one could ask for. She was dedicated, dependable and her work was always perfect. She will be greatly missed.

I enjoyed playing bridge with Carol over the years.  I will certainly miss her.  She was such a lovely person.

Words are not enough to express the heartfelt sorrow that I feel for the passing of your mom, grandmother, sister, auntie, cousin, church member, partner in tennis, bridge, knitting or wherever your paths may have crossed and my friend. Carol was such a very humble and quiet person who loved her family and life. She and I worked together from 1988 until she retired. Carol took great pride in her work and was a brilliant programmer. We would often call on Carol's help long after she retired and she was always willing to be of assistance. It always amazed me at how busy Carol kept herself even after retirement. She would still take time to call for lunch so we could catch up on life and family. Carol cared deeply about her family. We will all miss Carol very much, but may we all eventually find comfort in knowing she is now at peace in heaven with God.
