Mr. Charles F. Coleman, age 76 of Marietta, passed away September 7, 2011. Mr. Coleman was a retired Master Sergeant from the U S Air Force, and also retired from the U S Postal Service. He was also past president of Branch 1119 NALC. He was preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years, Janice D. Coleman and his step-mother, Mary Ricks Coleman.
He is survived by his son, David Michael Coleman, of Vancouver, WA; daughter, Susan Marie Coleman, of Marietta; son, Daniel Edward (wife, Pamela) Coleman of Dallas; 3 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sisters, Betty (husband, Bob) Griffin, of Thomasville, Martha Jane Gay, of Moultrie; brother, Randall Coleman, of Huntsville, AL; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 11, at 2:00 PM in Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Brian Foster officiating. Interment will follow with full military honors at Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday 1-2 PM at the funeral home prior to the service.
