So special that all the printers ink ever made could never tell the story. Charles Dupree Moore (Charlie) has at long last been reunited with his beloved wife of 72 years Annie Mae Moore.
Charlie was born on December 25, 1930. It has often been said that, "Two of our favorite people were born on Christmas Day.”
His journey on this earth was one marked by love,
compassion, and an unwavering faith in God. His passing has
left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and many more
whose lives were touched by him.
We ask that you remember him not for the way his life ended, but for the way it was lived and for the profound impact it had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing and sharing time with him.
Charlie served in the United States Navy and worked for the
Seaboard Air Line Railroad for 45 years. He owned and
worked a 160 acre farm in Butts County along with serving
with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources as a
Game Warden. Lastly, Charlie was a “Free & Accepted
Masons” for 74 years.
Charlie is preceded in death by his father, Harry Dupree
Moore, mother Mary Eddis Edwards Moore and brother Harry
Dupree Moore Jr. Additionally, his grandfather Thomas Walter
Moore, and grandmother Lulabele Dupree Moore, along with
many additional family members and love ones.
