

Clinton Durrell Allsup (Daddyrell), of Villa Rica GA, passed away May 28th surrounded by his loved ones leaving behind a legacy of service, dedication, and love for his family and community. Born on April 20, 1936, in Talladega AL, Clinton lived a life marked by hard work, integrity, and commitment to those he loved.
Clinton proudly served his country in the United States Army.
Following his distinguished military service, he began a career as a professional truck driver with Yellow Freight, where he worked for 40 years. Over the course of his career, he drove more than two million miles accident-free, an extraordinary accomplishment that reflected his professionalism, responsibility, and dedication.
Above all, Clinton was devoted to his family. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Helen Allsup, who passed away on January 15, 2023. Together they shared 66 years of marriage and a life filled with love, commitment, and cherished memories.
Clinton is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Hoffman; his 2 granddaughters, Courtney Evans (Zach Evans) and Casey Jones (Tyler Jones); and six great-grandchildren; Ryder Evans, Jacob Evans, Rinley Evans, Judson Evans, Carter Jones and Cambree Jones all of whom brought great joy and pride to his life.
Those who knew Daddyrell will remember his strong character, his contagious smile, steady presence, and unwavering work ethic. He lived with honor, served with pride, and loved his family deeply. His legacy will live on through the family he treasured and the many lives he touched throughout his years.
Clinton will be laid to rest beside his beloved Wife, at 3:00 pm, Monday, June 1st, 2026, on the grounds of Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 2000 Cobb Parkway South, Marietta, Georgia, 30060. The family will receive guests, two-hours before the service.
