Ret. Col. Harry Raymond Tear Jr., age 78, passed away on April 5, 2014 at St. Joseph Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. Mr. Tear leaves behind his wife, Christa Clausen Tear of Savannah, Georgia, his son Harry Tear III of Marietta, and his daughter Christa Venable of Sandy Springs. Mr. Tear retired as a Colonel in the United States Army and was married to his wife, Christa, for 55 years. A graveside service will be held Saturday, April 12th at 11 AM at the Historic Bonaventure Cemetery in Savannah, Georgia. Father Gavin Dunbar from St. Johns Episcopal Church in Savannah, Georgia will be officiating.
