Coleen Codgell Norman, 83, of Marietta, GA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 8th. Originally from Brunswick, GA, Coleen graduated from Glynn Academy High School in 1946. She is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, James M. Norman, and parents Colon and Beuna Cogdell of Brunswick, GA. She is survived by her 2 children and their spouses, Barbara and Spence Simpson, and Randy and Renee Norman, sister, Bobbie Lamb, grandchildren, Lauren, Chris, James, Philip, and Sarah, and great-grandchildren, Connor, Collin, and Jessy. A graveside service will be held at 12 p.m. Sunday, August, 11 at Oakwood Cemetery in Troy, AL. The family asks in lieu of flowers, donations be made in honor of her 2 great grandchildren to the Mitochondrial Foundation, 8085 Saltsburg Road, Suite 201 | Pittsburgh, PA 15239 (umdf.org). H.M.
