

Dale Alan Wells of Duluth, GA, born on March 11, 1960 in Chicago, IL entered into eternal rest on March 11, 2013, his 53rd birthday. He grew up outside Chicago, IL in Calumet City and was a former resident of Martinsvile, IL.
For the last 23 years of his life Dale was a long time resident of Duluth, GA. Dale enjoyed a successful management career in the tile industry working for various local tile companies including; Tile With Style, Interceramic, and Zumpano Enterprises. He enjoyed his work and in his spare time enjoyed boating in Georgia on Lake Lanier, Lake Hartwell and Lake Allatoona in addition to camping and exploring the back roads and mountain towns of North Georgia. Dale will be remembered for his hardy laugh and his generous and kind spirit to those most in need. He cared deeply for those who were fortunate enough to know him well and share in his life and friendship.
In his final hours, Dale died surrounded by the comfort and care of his closest friends, former co-workers, clergy and the caring hospital staff of Kindred Hospital and Vitas Hospice Care in Atlanta, GA. Dale Alan Wells passed away at 4:50 PM on March 11, 2013, after suffering the affects of acute chronic respiratory failure and subsequent heart failure.
At the young age of 19, Dale served in The United States Army. Dale was also a good friend and neighbor, a son, a brother, a husband, a grandfather, and an uncle. Following his death, Dale Alan's remains were cremated and he was laid to eternal rest at The Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA. He will truly be missed.
