Darlene was great. We had so much fun working and playing together. She taught me a lot and was a good friend. Her smile and laughter will be missed but not forgotten. I will always remember Darlene with a smile in my heart because she was pure joy.
I miss you friend. Love Renee

I was friends with Darlene for over 50 years. The times I remember of our double dates together with her and Bill are still fond memories to me of some of the hilarious things we all did together. Bill was Best Man and Darlene was Maid of Honor at our wedding. She was a loving wife and mom and raised three fine children. My heart was saddened when I heard the family had lost Darlene. Whether you called her Darlene, Big Dar, Dora, Mama or Grandma she will be missed by all. I feel fortunate to have had Darlene pass my way and be my friend. My love goes out to Bill and all the Parker family.

Darlene, you have been my buddy for almost 25 years. We have had so much fun and worked side by side for many years. You are the strongest person I know and a hell of a fighter. The love you have for your family is so evident in all things you did. You are not suffering anymore and for that, I am grateful. I love you and miss you terribly! Rest in peace until we meet again. Friends forever!
