Dee Gorla

Dee is survived by her husband of 26 years, Jerry Gorla; sister, Laura Cordero (Joey); brothers Frederick Harvey, Gary Harvey, and Daniel Cascino (Marie); children John Firth Jr. (Ali), Cheryl Church (Robert), Brian Firth (Andrea), Kimberly London, Susie Walker (Jeff), Bonnie Lufffel (David), and Becky Aaroyo (Saul). She was blessed with 15 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Dee enjoyed working in the yard and creating beautiful silk flower arrangements. She loved collecting stamps, Coca-Cola trays, vintage carnival glass, and many other vintage treasures. She will always be remembered for her extravagant Christmas village and estate sale finds. She loved hosting dinners and preparing big holiday meals for her family.

Dee was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished her family deeply. Her love, warmth, and generosity will be remembered and treasured by all who knew her.

The family will recieve friends Monday evening, September 28th from 5 pm until 8 pm at the funeral home. Funeral Service will be held 11:00 am, Tuesday, September 29th at HM Patterson and Son Canton Hill Chapel with Rev. Glenn Ray officiating. She will be buried at Georgia National Cemetery at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, September 30th.
