Debbie and family, Our thoughts, prayers and love are with you and your family. We were priveleged and honored to have known Dennis. He was such a driving force in the education and awareness about amyloidosis. No one has made more of a contribution to the cause and patient advocacy then Dennis. We will miss those medical conventions standing by him for hours. Love you.

Dear Mrs. Krysmalski, Kristen, Ryan, and Family, we are deeply sorry for your loss.  We are in continuous prayer to our Heavenly Father for your strength, peace, and for Him to give you comfort during this time.  You have been and will continue to be such a special family to my sister, Becky. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Dennis and I met 39 years ago as two of the three "outlaws" in the family. We have been good friends since. Every Thanksgiving we would take a morning walk of about 3 miles just to clear our heads. During those walks we learned a great deal about one another and came to learn what it was about living that deserved out attention and respect. I learned about his depth of love for his family and his character. That love never waivered nor did his character ever falter. When the issue called for it he drew a line in the sand and said from here he would retreat no more. Up until the end of his fight he faced his enemy, and that still means something too old soldiers. He was one of the toughest yet most gentle men I have ever known and his kindness will be missed by any who knew him. I miss him. My walks are slower now but will always have a place with him. Good bye my friend, until next time.

I would have to say of all my relatives, uncle Dennis was the one who could capture a moment and say something so clever and illuminating that it would capture an entire room. He was a person who you could talk to about any subject and he seemed to know all about it. I will miss those conversations and his sublime nature about things. I love uncle Dennis say hi to grandma for me

My handsome cousins courage was only upstaged by his love for his family.  You could see the love in his eyes in every photo I have seen him in when he was with them. 
I will always remember growing up with him and having so much fun on Russel Street and in Alpena.
He will always be in my heart!

God love him.  We laughed, we argued, he counseled me on cooking!  Dennis was a great friend and a gift to me as well as the amyloidosis community, and an amazing and loving family man.  My thoughts and sympathies are with the Krysmalski family.
