Diane Marjorie Batroff

Diane Marjorie Batroff was born at Holy Name Hospital, Teaneck NJ on July 2, 1943. Diane spent nearly 40 years living in Fort Lee, NJ. During this time, she graduated Fort Lee High School and took advanced courses in Human Relations at Paramus Adult Education Center. Diane began her career in New York City at Dundee Towel Mills as an administrative assistant. She also worked at a New York Hospital as an appointment scheduler. After a few years, she took a job with Prentiss Hall Publishing as an Administrative Assistant. During this time Diane met and was married to Bob Walsh for 8 years. In the early 1980’s Diane moved to Georgia and lived with her parents. She worked for Kroger, Mc Donald’s, Burger King and Publix until she retired in 2005. Diane attended St. Paul’s United Methodist Church of Marietta. Diane was predeceased by her Father, Ernest Carl Batroff, her Mother Violet Emma Batroff and her Brother Ronald Ernest Batroff. She is survived by her Sister-in-Law Audrey Batroff, her Nephews Ron Batroff (Tammie Batroff), Kirk Batroff (Pam Hall), and Niece Jeanette Myers (Jim Myers). She also is survived by 6 Great Nephews and Nieces and 6 children of theirs. Diane's family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, on Friday, July 13th, 2018, at Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 2000 Cobb Parkway SE, Marietta, Georgia, 30060. They will honor and celebrate her life, with a Funeral Service, at 2:00 o'clock, in the Chapel of Georgia Memorial Park. Following the service, Diane with be interred on the grounds of Georgia Memorial Park.

Diane was a person of quite colorful character, that was loved and will be missed by all.
