Diane Ray

Ms. Diane Ray, age 60 of Smyrna, passed away February 17, 2012. Ms. Ray was a 1969 graduate of Lynn English High School and a former member of the United States Air Force. She was a fan of the Boston Red Sox and the Atlanta Braves and enjoyed bowling and participating in the Susan G. Komen 3 day walks. She was also a friend of Bill W. Ms. Ray was a loving mother, sister and daughter and a true friend to all. She will be deeply missed.

Ms. Ray was preceded in death by her father Leo A. Alfonsi, brothers David Alfonsi, Thomas Alfonsi and Michael Alfonsi. She is survived by her mother Gladys Kelly Alfonsi, daughter Heather Strawn and husband Kenny of Mableton, son Eric Pettengill and wife Elizabeth of Gloucester, VA; sisters Marilyn Welch (Hoyt), Sue Lunden, and Jeanne Alfonsi; brothers Richard Alfonsi (Ellen), Stephen Alfonsi, Patrick Alfonsi and Brian Alfonsi (Susan), 5 grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at 12:00pm at the chapel of Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Monday, February 20, 2012 from 2-5pm and Tuesday February 21, 2012 from 10am-12pm prior to the service.
