Dianne was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on January 1st, 1950 and was the daughter of the late Ury and Elanor Templet Arcemont. A resident of Austell, Georgia since 2000, Dianne is survived by her husband of 47 years, Herbert John Blanchard. Herbert and Dianne are blessed with four children – Dee (Anthony) Buttram, of Dawsonville, Georgia, Brett (Simone) Blanchard of Mount Airy, Maryland, Lucia (Randy) Clements of Senoia, Georgia and Rose (Doug) Evans of Dallas, Georgia. She has one grandson, Ren Buttram and three granddaughters, Ariel Buttram, Sophia Blanchard and Trinity Clements and one great-grandson, Brantley Crawford. Diane is survived by her sister, Debra (Jim) Jeanfreau of Belle Chasse, Louisiana and Edward (Melanie) Arcemont of Navarre, Florida. Diane is preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Arcemont. Diane graduated from Nicholls State University in Thibodeaux, Louisiana, with a B.A. in Special Education. She loved her Catholic Faith and had a special devotion to the Blessed Mother and trying to live in God’s Divine Will. Her greatest joy was to help others in any way they needed, including cleaning their homes, help them with shopping, taking them out for a meal, etc. Dianne loved daisies, butterflies and dragon flies (known as mosquito hawks in Louisiana). She lived her life considering others first, especially her family which was always second, nest to God. There will be a Recitation of the Rosary, from 7:30PM until 8:00PM. Diane has chosen to be cremated and her interment will be private and held at a later date. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday March 8th, 2019, at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 1920 Skyview Drive, Lithia Springs, Georgia, 30122. I was saddened to hear of Diane’s passing. I always enjoyed her presence at the C. Freeman Poole Senior Center. Such a beautiful person! I’ll miss her. She is no longer in pain and discomfort. May God comfort Herb and his family during this difficult time.
