Donald S. Cook

Donald Spencer Cook, age 71, of Marietta, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 14, 2025. A native of Texas, Donald was born on November 15, 1954, to the late Spencer Cook and Doris Gibson Cook.

Donald spent much of his working life in food distribution, serving as a stocker at several grocery stores. Through his years of work, he was a dependable and hardworking man who took pride in providing for himself and being a part of his community.

Donald will be remembered and missed by his family and those who knew him. He is survived by his sister, Patricia Davis of Carrollton; his brother, Bob Cook of Ohio; and several cousins.

A graveside service to honor and celebrate Donald’s life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 22, at Arlington Memorial Park Cemetery in Sandy Springs, Georgia. Family and friends are invited to gather together in remembrance and to celebrate the life he lived.

May Donald’s memory remain a blessing to his family and loved ones. May the memories shared throughout his life bring comfort and peace during this time of loss.
