Mr. Donald William Duncan, age 56, of Marietta, passed away November 20, 2010. Mr. Duncan was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, and especially enjoyed flying his model airplanes and late night TV-watching with his wife.
He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Violet R. Duncan, Marietta; children, Melissa, Caudra, Athens, Christy Pitman, Olathe, KA, Chris (wife, Adrienne) Smith, Springville, AL, Amanda (husband, Chris “Scooter”) Worden, Marietta; five granddaughters; two grandsons; brothers, Timothy Duncan and David Duncan; sister Carol Duncan, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 23 at 2:00 PM in Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Snyder Turner officiating. Interment will follow at Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening 5 – 9 PM at the funeral home.
