

Dora was born on August 17, 1944, in Tallahassee, Florida, to Higdon and Claudia Cabler Ingram. She carried a strong spirit, deep faith, and a love for her family and friends.
She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Dora will be remembered for her unwavering faith in God, and her genuine love of life. She found her greatest happiness in time spent with her family, whether attending her grandchildren’s activities, or simply being together.
Dora had a passion for serving others. For 40 years, she was a faithful member of Eastside Church, where she joyfully used her gift of service and built lasting friendships within her church family. Her faith guided her life, and she found great fulfillment in Bible studies and serving at her church home especially finding joy in the Children’s Ministry teaching Sunday school sharing Gods word with young children .
She also cherished life’s simple pleasures—gardening, painting, reading, and especially visiting the beach, her favorite place to relax and reflect. Those who knew her will remember her strong spirit and devotion to her family and friends.
Dora is survived by her daughter, Andrea Hietala Sanford (Brent); her granddaughters, Hannah Hietala Irtenkauf (Josh) and Emma Puchner; her grandson, Ben Puchner, and her great-grandchildren, Jana and MJ Irtenkauf. She is also survived by her sisters, Barbara Styles, Evelyn McDowell (Mike), and Latricia Langley (John); her brothers, Jerry Ingram (Lasella) and Richard Ingram (Robbie); along with many beloved nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Higdon and Claudia Ingram; her husband, Matt Hietala and her brother, Higdon “Buck” Ingram.
Dora’s legacy of love, faith, and service will live on in all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
A Funeral Service to honor Dora will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at 1:00pm at HM Patterson and Son Canton Hill Chapel.
