Dorothy Farmer

Mrs. Dorothy Farmer, age 92 of Marietta, GA passed away Monday, November 15, 2010. Dorothy was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was also a wonderful cook and baker. Dorothy was a long-time member of the Baptist Tabernacle in Atlanta and of Eastside Baptist Church in Marietta. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Otis Farmer, Sr. Surviving are sons, Marion Otis Farmer, Jr. (Emilie), Ray Farmer (Gayle); daughter, Patsy Farmer Travis (Stuart); grandchildren, Andy Farmer, Jeffrey Farmer, Mark Farmer, Jenny Hiott, Dan Farmer, Amanda Rangel, Cindy Welch, Tim Farmer, Rich Travis, Rob Travis; and 15 great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Thursday, Nov. 18th at 11 am in the chapel at H.M.Patterson & Son, Canton Hill with Dr. Gerald Harris and Dr. David Chauncey officiating.
