Earnestine A. McDuffie, age 83, passed away peacefully on March 11th, 2026, surrounded by loved ones. She was born on December 6th, 1942, in Murphy, North Carolina to Earnest Benjamin and Austeen Townsend Anderson.
Earnestine dedicated her life to caring for her family and creating a warm and loving home. She shared a loving marriage of 58 years with her husband, Gene. Together they built a life centered on family, loyalty, and enduring love. As a devoted stay-at-home mother to her two sons, Andy and Adam, she poured her heart into raising them with kindness and strong values.
Earnestine was a devoted member of Eastside Baptist Church for over 50 years. Her love of children and family lead her to work at Eastside Baptist Church with the pre-school program for many years.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, Earnest Benjamin Anderson and Austeen Townsend Anderson. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, Jospeh “Gene” McDuffie, sons Andy McDuffie and Adam McDuffie, cousins Marie Beckworth and Barbara Pass.
The family will recieve friends on Saturday evening from 6 pm until 8 pm at HM Patterson and Son Canton Hill . Funeral Service will be held 2:00 pm, Sunday at Eastside Baptist Church 2450 Lower Roswell Road, Marietta, GA with interment to follow at Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery at 3:30 pm Sunday.
Those desiring to honor her memory may make a donation to Eastside Baptist Church in her name in lieu of flowers.
