Mr. Edgar G. Lucas, age 91, of Marietta, Georgia passed away on December 25, 2020. Mr. Lucas was born in South Bend, Indiana to Edgar S. & Martha Hazinski Lucas. Mr. Lucas proudly served in the United States Navy. A graduate and avid supporter of Notre Dame University, Mr. Lucas went on to a wonderful career in Public Relations and Gerontology. Mr. Lucas married the love of his life, Joan Therese Hans Lucas; and together they had three children, Mary, Elizabeth, and Matthew. Mr. Lucas was steadfast in his faith and a devoted member of Holy Family Catholic Church, in Marietta.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Catholic Church, on December 30, 2020 at 11:00am. In accordance with Covid-19 protocols, all guests will be required to wear face masks and social distancing will be observed. The family will inter him during a private service at Arlington Memorial Park, in Sandy Springs.
