

Edith was born December 13, 1943. She is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Lacey Paul Grose Sr., whom she married in 1963 in Atlanta and started Style Taxi Service in 1978, where they continue to provide taxi services in Metro Atlanta closing the business in 2017 after a long and productive business endeavor. She loved music and enjoyed teaching piano to her wonderful students.
She is survived by four children, daughter and son-in-law, LaSandra Grose Roberts and Bill Roberts; son, Lacey Paul Grose Jr.; son, James Urias Grose; son and daughter-in-law, Edward Allen Grose and Amy Denise Grose; sister, Constance Grimaude; many grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
She accomplished many roles in her life with perfection; a daughter, a farmer, a student, wife, a mother, a piano teacher, business owner, giver and a parishioner who so loved God. She gave to everyone her kindness, thoughtfulness, and happiness. She kept you on your toes with her intellect. She was charitable in business with no conditions; who gave many people hope and a chance to provide for their families. She was a true giver in life, and most of all she loved being a nurturing mother for her family. She did all this with perfection. She will now be rewarded with eternal life.
An 11:00 am funeral service will be held Friday, July 9, 2021 at Chattahooche Baptist Church, 375 Johnson Ferry Road, Marietta, GA 30068. She will lie in state an hour prior.
Interment at Chattahoochee Baptist Church cemetery following the funeral service.
