after being hospitalized with covid pneumonia. He was followed in death by his wife of 65
years, Edna Theresa (Cullen) Beaver, who died 6 days later at the same hospital.
Edward, known as Buddy to his friends, was one of four children born in Astoria, New York to
Edward A. Beaver and Ann Coleman Beaver. Buddy grew up with three sisters, Barbara,
Dolores and Bobbi Lee . As a young man Buddy joined the United States Navy. After serving a
stint in the navy, Buddy was hired to work on crew scheduling for the pilots at Eastern Airlines.
He worked for Eastern Airlines for over 40 years. During a job interview that he was conducting ,
Buddy met the woman he would eventually marry, Edna Cullen. Buddy and Edna were married
in 1956 and were blessed with four beautiful daughters, Sharon Malissa Maloney, Doreen
Sellers, Debra Beaver, and Brenda Beaver. He loved his daughters very much.
The family moved to Florida in 1973. Buddy maintained a very active lifestyle throughout his
life. He loved singing in his church choir and he worked in real estate for many years.. After
Eastern Airline closed and he and the family moved to Georgia, Buddy drove a school bus for
Cobb County for over 20 years.
Buddy was a great provider to his family and worked very hard for his wife and daughters. He
was very blessed with three beautiful grandchildren, Brandon Sellers, Matthew Malissa and
Megan Condrey and six great grandchildren, Ayden Sellers, Mila Condrey, Colin Sellers, Oliver
Condrey, Theodore Condrey and Archie Condrey.
We will miss you very much Daddy. You will always remain in our hearts. We are happy you
are with our Lord and Mommy. Please rest in peace.
