I met Effie when she bought my mother’s condo at Kolb Farm. She was so lovely to work with and even invited me to tea so I could see how she transformed the condo interior. It was simply beautiful and I’m thankful she was able to enjoy living there for 2 years. We talked on the phone occasionally, our last chat just a few months ago. I am broken hearted to hear of her passing. She was a wonderful Christian lady and it was God’s timing that brought us together. My sincere sympathies....Pam Reeves

Effie, my dear friend and sister. 35 years ago you introduced my husband and I to Jesus. I’m still and will always be overwhelmed with what Christ has done in our lives. It has been such a privilege working with you for the Lord. You served on the board of directors for Harvest of Hearts and changed so many lives for children and adults. I have such great memories of you speaking in the ladies meetings in Brazil. So many people were saved. Thank you so much for opening the bridge of my heart to Jesus. I will always love and remember you.

What can I say about Effie? She was one of a kind...a dear friend...a fun person to be around...but most of all someone who was passionate to know the Lord and serve Him faithfully. Effie did this up to the end. She died with her boots on!
Effie will always have a part of my heart. I look forward to the time I will be in heaven to see my Lord and to laugh with Effie again.
