Elizabeth R. Heslin

Elizabeth Rose Heslin, 86, of Marietta, GA, formerly of Queens, NY, died March 10, 2016. Mrs. Heslin was born in Queens, NY. She was married for 50 years. Mrs. Heslin was a charter member of St. Ann Catholic Church. She touched many hearts through her dedicated work for St. Vincent de Paul. She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Heslin, Jr.; son, Dennis Heslin; and brothers, Joseph and Vincent Ferrigno. She is survived by her dear friend, John Sullivan; sons, James E. Heslin, III (Luanne), Robert Heslin, and Peter Heslin (Sara); daughters, Mary Contigiani (Anthony) and Patty Vargas (Steven); daughter-in-law, Jann Heslin; grandchildren, Lauren Heslin, Kim Contigiani, Shaina Contigiani, Jay Heslin, Anna Heslin, Kristen Contigiani, Mark Contigiani, Patrick Heslin, Charlotte Heslin, Sam Heslin, Kiley Heslin, Casey Heslin, Keelan Vargas, Courtney Vargas, Eve Heslin, and Wyatt Heslin; brother, John Ferrigno (Norma); Ann Dennehy (Michael), Addie Cenerelli, and Madeline Mooney. A visitation will be held Monday, March 14, 2016 from 10am-2pm and 4-8pm at H.M. Patterson & Son –Canton Hill, 1157 Old Canton Rd, Marietta, GA 30068. A funeral mass will be conducted at 11am on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at St. Ann Catholic Church, 4905 Roswell Rd, Marietta, GA 30068. A reception will follow the Mass in laSalette Hall. Following the reception, a cortege will lead guests and family to the committal service, which will commence at 3pm at Arlington Memorial Park, 201 Mt Vernon Hwy, Sandy Springs, GA 30328. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to St. Ann’s St. Vincent de Paul charities.
