What a treasure your Mama was. I am so sorry to have just learned this news. I have wonderful memories of seeing her in her pew at the church when I would bring my Mama down to Cleveland. She came over for lunch at the cabin on my mom Daphne's last trip in August of 2013. She was always a brightener at every occasion. The remarkable resilience of the ladies of that renegade church chapter have left a legacy for us all. Blessings to you all. Parks joins me in sending his best.

I am sorry I will not be able to attend her memorial - and, I, fact, will not even be able to send her the usual  birthday card, but will be thinking of her on that memorial day.

I knew Lib for a few short years when living in Helen and working at The Old Sautee Store.  We all became instant family.  These memories are a part of my life forever.  Lib had her knitting circle every week.  She knitted and I crocheted.  I gave her all my yarn before moving.  I know she was making hats and blankets for children. We have fond memories of hours spent with Sam's parents and Lib and Mack (and earlier with Hallie and Guy) on their Nacoochee porch or ours. Sharing connections to Jacksonville made for extra good story-sharing. Lib was a person who always made you feel she was genuinely glad to see you. We will miss her. This community will miss her. We know her family will miss her most of all, and we are so sorry for your loss.
