Ernest L. Jones, Jr., age 83, of Kennesaw,GA, passed away Thursday, January 5, 2017. He is survived by his loving wife Geraldine Jones of Kennesaw, GA; Son Brian Jones (Kay) of Acworth, GA; Son Keith Jones (Teresa) of Kennesaw, GA; Daughter Michele Dowdy (Terry) of McDonough, GA; brother Walter Jones of Glen Allen, VA; sister Mary Elizabeth Spicer of Glen Allen, VA.; 7 grandsons; 4 granddaughters; 1 great-grandson. Ernest was a longtime member of the Roswell Street Baptist Church. He was a Navy Veteran and worked for 35 years at Zep Inc. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 9, 2017 at 1 o’clock in the chapel of Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home with Dr. William Camp officiating. Interment will follow in Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery.
A visitation is scheduled for Monday, January 9, 2017 between the hours of 11:00 a.m. & 1:00 p.m.
