Born on January 8, 1998, Erwin lived a life defined by an innate curiosity, a sharp intellect, and a profound capacity for kindness and humor. He graduated from Kennesaw State University with a bachelor's degree in computer science where he developed the skills that complemented his lifelong passion for solving problems and creating innovative solutions.
Erwin balanced his analytical mind with a remarkable talent for making people laugh, bringing brightness to those around him through his clever puns and quick wit. He found joy in building mechanical and electronic projects, fixing anything that was broken, and optimizing systems simply because he loved the challenge. His inquisitive mind was always searching for a better way.
Beyond his technical talents, Erwin had a deep appreciation for Japanese culture, enjoyed reading, and was an avid video game enthusiast. At home, he was devoted to his beloved cats, Hunter and Hayden, who brought him endless companionship and happiness.
Above all, Erwin cherished the people in his life. He was a loving son, brother, and friend whose generosity and caring nature touched everyone who knew him. His presence will be deeply missed, but the memories he created and the laughter he shared will remain in the hearts of those who loved him.
Erwin found great comfort and purpose in his faith, and in recent months, he actively pursued a deeper relationship with the Lord.
Erwin is survived by his loving mother, Dianna Joubert; his father, Werner Joubert; his brother, Luan Joubert; and his sister, Danais Joubert. He also leaves behind many extended family members, dear friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know him.
A private memorial service for the family will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Erwin's honor to Good Mews Animal Foundation, reflecting his love for cats and animals.
May Erwin's memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved him, and may his legacy of laughter, ingenuity, and compassion live on in the lives he touched.
