

He was born April 28, 1943 to Hazel Mae Porterfield Hull and Woodrow Hull in Normalville, PA. Everett was one of six children of his mother and father. His mother(31yrs) and baby brother George(9mos) passed away at an early age as the result of a house fire. Everett also had two half-siblings and a step brother after his father remarried.
After high school Everett joined the United States Air Force, where he proudly served four years. Two of those years were overseas between Japan and Korea and two were stateside in Panama City, Florida. It was in Panama City that he met his loving wife to be, Doris Jean Quick. They were married July 27, 1963. They later moved to Kennesaw, Ga and then to Marietta, where they had two daughters Debbie Jean and Tammy Lynn.
After leaving the Air Force, Everett began working with Lockheed where he worked on airplanes for 10 years. After that he was hired by Delta Airlines where he did the same thing for another 20 years. He retired at the age of 52. In retirement, he tinkered with computers for a while and even opened a shop with a friend to pass the time.
Everett is preceded in death by his loving wife of 44 years, Jean; his parents, Woodrow and Hazel; his brothers, George, Paul, and Ricky; his sister Ruth; his half-brother, Kenny; and his half-sister, Bonnie.
He leaves behind his daughters Debbie Vermillion (Joel) and Tammy McFarlin (David); three grandsons Nickalus Vermillion (Lauren Cass), Alan McFarlin (Britany Azar and daughter, Kimber) and Kyle McFarlin; his sister, Martha Richter; and step-brother, John Hull.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, March 21, 2026 at 1:00 PM at Sandy Plains Baptist Church, burial will follow the service in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church starting at 11:30 until the start of the service at 1:00.
