Mrs. Florence S. “Stevie” Hartmann, age 90, of Marietta, passed away May 23, 2011. Stevie was born in Lima, MA to the late Burns R. Stevens and Helen Town Stevens. She grew up in Lynn, MA, was a veteran of the US Army, and became a flight attendant with Delta Air Lines. A “feisty and independent” woman, she was active in Delta Klipped Wings, her bridge club, and her bowling group. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 59 years, Arthur Hartmann.
She is survived by her son, Gerald Hartmann of Marietta.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 27, 11:00 AM in Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday morning, 9:30 – 11:00 at the funeral home prior to the service.
