Gabriel Salvant

Gabriel Salvant was born September 22, 1960 in Don Don Haiti, to Yolande Menard & Dieudonne Salvant. While in Haiti, Gabriel was blessed to have his two eldest children: Gariston and Yanick Salvant. He then came to the United States in 1984 where he later met his wife, Marie Joelle. They married in 1993 and had 4 children, Ednard, Edlinard, Alexcia, & Jogan.

He was a loving father to his children and a loyal friend. He was known for his generosity and had a heart of kindness. He was also known for his comedic disposition. Gabriel had a way of bringing everyone together through laughter; his sense of humor was impeccable. He had a passion for food, politics, and was very dedicated to his job as a Certified Nurse’s Aid. He was affectionately called Gaby by his closest friends and family.

Earlier this year, Gabriel gave his life to Jesus and fully committed to Him as Lord & Savior. He even stated that now he made his peace with God that he was ready to meet his Heavenly Father.

On November 12th, 2022, Gabriel went home to be with the Lord. He is survived by wife Marie Joelle Salvant, his children: Yanick, Gariston, Ednard, Edlinard, Alexcia and Jogan. His grandchildren: Elijah, Yabigail, Jeremiah, Gianna, and Matias. His siblings: Yanick Braumuller, Utha Salvant, Richard Salvant, Marc Salvant, Ronel Salvant. His nephews, nieces, and countless of cousins and friends.

Gabriel, your presence brought joy to all who had the privilege of knowing you. You will be deeply missed.
