Gail was such a special person.  I got to know her since growing up with Matt in school.  Her warmth and kindness that she gives out is truly rare.  I’ll always remember the times spent visiting in Hilton Head, our morning coffee chats, having the best seafood, or relaxing on the beach.  She always made us feel so welcome and at home.  I’m grateful for all those warm memories and our thoughts are with you all.

We lived next to Gail for almost 20 years in Hedgerow four. When I first met Gail through Debbie Meek,  I found out that Gail and I had the same birthday so every year we made it a point to wish each other a Happy birthday. When we did see each other coming and going, we always tried to stop and talk and visit with each other. I
was telling my sister that Gail was the warmest friendliest person I knew . Always bubbly with a smile on her face. Joyful.

I moved away ,then moved back , I have had the chance to get together with her and Debbie a few times. It just broke my heart to hear the news since she was such a lovely lady and my friend.

We have been neighbors of Gail’s in Woodstock for years.  She lived right next door to us.  Gail was such a great neighbor, so sweet, and always had a smile for you!  Our kitchens connected  in the quad townhomes we own.  One thing that we enjoyed many times was that she loved her grandchildren so much and they came often  to spend the night.  In the mornings, at our breakfast table we could hear laughing and her singing with her grandson and then his little sister came along and joined all the fun.  It is a sweet memory of a dear neighbor we  will always remember.  Rest in peace dear neighbor.

Gary n I were very blessed to have Gail as a neighbor in Hilton Head Plantation in HHI SC.  We became friends instantly.  It was as though we had been friends all of our lives. Gary was still working at the time; so, Gail n I enjoyed going to Dolphin  Head most weekdays n walking the coastline while sharing family stories.  Gail loved to laugh n she certainly lit up a room with just her presence.  She loved her family , Molly n Matt, her siblings n what she would call her extended family.  Gail n I kept in touch even after we both moved back to Ga with family.  N when the “grands” came along, she would share pics .  She was so very proud of all of ya’ll.  It is sad that while we r on this side of Jordan, we grieve n morn the loss of our family n friends; but, it is so wonderful to know that as a believer to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. So, in saying this, we know that she is with the Lord n her Ken n has left a legacy for us all of her kindness, love for her Lord n love for others.  Gail, my special friend, Gary n I will see you again!

Sharkey and Gail were best Buds in our pool. Always having so much fun checking g out the temperature that Sharkey provided us making sure we were behaving.  Working out in the pool was our daily happy place and having Gail showing up as “ you know the drill”  was an awesome day to behold. What a true blessing to have my most cherished memories of our conversations that went all day, everyday while enjoying the saltwater and sunshine. Gail would talk about the family which she was immensely proud of and dedicated to. Her zest and love for life is forever engrained in each day as I walk through my memories.😇🌞🦩🐬

Oh my gosh if our pool could talk as we had so much fun. We would say “ok it’s time to “estercize” as we would spend every single day and all day in my pool in HHI!! Looking at the golfers, the sky while analyzing the world. We would spend countless hours and days enjoying our endless conversations about life, family, and our spiritual journey. I cherish these memories and while walking the beach and in saltwater I’m always reminded of our fun times.
Gail was always up for any fun no matter what and my “buddy” was always there to lend a helping hand, advice while planning our next fun day😇🤗🐬🦩🌞

One of first outings with Gail when we first lived to HHI. Meeting Gail was such a blessing and one that continued to grow and be ever so grateful for over the many years of having Gail so present  in our lives.  Tina organized my birthday Salty Dog boat ride and we had so much fun giggling and enjoy the ocean spray.

Nothing better than having g Gail close by while living in HHI!! Exploring the low tides with Neil, Molly and Brian was awesome and finding  the treasures was super fun!!! Your smile and laughter we can still hear as we made our way sloshing around in the sand.

It is so hard to say goodbye to my Dear Friend Gail. 

I was Blessed to have her as one of my closest Friends for a few short years. We lived across from  each other and every morning I would open my window shutters and look across to see if hers were open. As soon as hers were open widely, I knew she was alright and I could go on with my day. 

We would talk almost every day and would catch up on family and would share stories about our grandchildren. She moved a few years ago to be closer to her daughter and son and loved spending time with her grand babies. 

My heart is broken and I will miss your beautiful face and smile my Dear Dear Friend.

I am so saddened & still in such disbelief that my Dear Friend has Gone to God’s Great Heaven.  
Gail was one of my Best Friends.  We could never have enough time to get a “visit” in.  We would Talk & Laugh for Hours.  Her Laugh -  one of my Favorite things - the past few Days I have been hearing her Laugh over & over.   Gail was “One of A Kind”!  AND SHE LOVED HER FAMILY MORE THAN LIFE ITSELF.

I, too, knew Gail while working at Cox Enterprises. She was always nice, happy, willing to help, and had the most wonderful, unforgettable laugh. She brightened everyone's day. Gail will be so missed by so many. My love and condolences to her family who she loved more than they know. She will now and forever be your Guardian Angel.

This is our extended Cox Lunch Bunch group-we met at Brookwood Grill earlier this year.

I’m so lucky to have had a chance to get to know Gail while she worked at Cox.  I worked in the Legal dept, and Gail was always so pleasant, helpful and friendly to me and to everyone. I loved her beautiful smile. I was thrilled when we reconnected years later with our Cox Lunch Bunch group, and it was wonderful hearing Gail talk about her grandchildren.  She was such a lovely person and friend.

Gail was my secretary and friend for many years at Cox Enterprises.  She was later an administrative manager for the department and was as totally reliable as it was possible to be.  She was proud of her children and grandchildren, I am sorry that they won’t have many more years with her to love on them. My sympathy to Molly and Matt and their families.  We used to have lunch periodically and I am sorry it was more recently than it has been.  Ptreston Barnett.
