George Zajicek Miles

Mr. George Z. Miles, 81 of Marietta passed away Sunday, September 26, 2010. Mr. Miles attended the University of Toronto. He moved to Marietta in 1962 and started a career with Lockheed Martin as a Senior Design Engineer, where he retired in 1992. After retirement he went to work for Gulfstream. George was proud of his family and will be missed dearly by them. He is survived by his wife, Joan Miles; sons, Dana Miles and his wife Mary Ann of Cumming, GA; Ron Miles and his wife Edie of Marietta, GA and Kevin Miles of Marietta, GA; sisters, Doreen Gazo of Kingsville, Ontario and Esther Tarr of Kemptville, Ontario; grandchildren, Britton Miles, Trent Miles, Katie Turner and her husband Jake, Hillary Miles, Zack Miles, Lucas Miles and Melanie Miles. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 30, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at H.M. Patterson and Son, Canton Hill Chapel.
