
He graduated from Boys High in Atlanta and attended Georgia Tech. He retired from the City of Atlanta as a Civil Engineer after many faithful years of service. Mr. Pace was a veteran of the United States Air Force, a lifetime member of the Masons and a member of the First Baptist Church of Gainesville where he enjoyed singing in the choir. He loved golf and after retiring achieved 3 Hole-in-one’s. He enjoyed wood working and made furniture and toys for his grandchildren.
Mr. Pace is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jeannine Pace and is survived by his daughter, Kathleen Pace Wolfram and husband Dan; son, Leonard Drew Pace and wife Becky; Grandchildren: David Fowler; Brooke Gilliland and husband Ben; Kimberly Campbell and husband Nick; Kelsey Wolfram and great-grandson, Judson Campbell.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the First Baptist Church of Gainesville, 751 Green Street, Gainesville, Georgia 30501. Please indicate your donation to be dedicated to the Ministry of Caring.
A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held on Wednesday, July 27 at 11am at the Masters Family Cemetery in Ellenwood, Georgia.
