Rod will be remembered for his kindness, strength, and the lasting impact he made on all who knew and loved him. He lived a full and meaningful life, marked by devotion to his family, deep friendships, and a strong commitment to his community.
A Funeral Mass will be held for Rod on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 3401 Lower Roswell Road, Marietta, Georgia. Family and friends are invited to gather to pray the Rosary at 11:00 a.m. at the church prior to the Mass.
Following the Catholic Mass, all are welcome to join the family for a reception at the church to celebrate Rod’s life and share memories.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Rod’s name to St. Vincent de Paul, Holy Family Conference; Knights of Columbus, Holy Family Council 9792; or the Emory Winship Cancer Institute (Sarcoma Fund or Surgical Oncology Fund).
