She was born in Everrett, MA on April 24, 1919. Trudy was married to John Whalen on September 14, 1947. She enjoyed her career as a sales clerk for First National Grocery for many years before retiring. She had a passion for dancing, reading and volunteering at the hospital. She is survived by her loving daughter: Kathy (Eddie) Curran; grandchildren: Tim (Rossana) Curran, Meredith (Dustin) Smith, and great-grandchildren: Lexi Curran and Nicholas Smith. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 17, 2017 from 5 pm until 8 pm at H.M. Patterson and Son Canton Hill Chapel, Marietta. A Funeral Mass will be held at 9 am on Saturday, February 18 at the Catholic Church of the Transfiguration. Burial will follow in Florida.
