Gilbert S. Nowell, age 77, of Canton, passed away September 11, 2012. “Gil” was born in Methuen, MA, and graduated from Lowell Tech and Purdue University with a degree in Plastics Technology He was employed at Boston Woven Hose, American Builtright Rubber Company, and most recently at Pandel Chemical in Cartersville as North American Technical Director developing multiple patents.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jean; son, Michael (wife Carol) Nowell; daughter, Bonnie (husband, Larry) Kraska; grandchildren, Jenny and Matt Kraska, Dayna (husband, Kenneth) Veit, Jennifer (husband, Trino) Mancillas; great-grandchildren, Jason Joseph, Haley Amelia, and Anthony. A loving husband, father, grandfather, and hero to his family, he will be sorely missed.
The family will receive friends Saturday, September 15, 4:00 – 6:00 PM at H. M. Patterson & Son – Canton Hill Chapel with a memorial prayer service to begin at 5:30.
