Born in Palo del Colle, Bari, Italy, Giovanni carried his Italian heritage with pride throughout his life.
He shared a loving marriage of 62 years with his beloved wife, Felicia, whose partnership was the foundation of their family. Giovanni was the devoted father of Francesca Minerva, Maria Salgado, and Giuseppe Liantonio. He was a proud and loving grandfather to Angela, Felicia, Gabrielle, and
Damiano, and was overjoyed to become the great-grandfather to his great-granddaughter, Juliet.
Giovanni found joy in life's simple pleasures. He loved tending to his garden, taking long walks, and following his favorite sports, especially Formula One racing, tennis, and the Tour de France. During the holiday season, he could often be found enjoying Hallmark Christmas movies, a tradition that brought him comfort and happiness.
Above all, Giovanni will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. His love for his family, his gentle spirit, and his quiet appreciation for everyday moments left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
He leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and family that will continue through the generations. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all whose lives he touched.
