Born in 1945 to the late George and Bessie Morris, Gloria grew up in Appling County, where she graduated from Appling County High School. She went on to attend community college for a year before beginning a fulfilling career as an office administrator for a local real estate firm.
Gloria will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her love of reading, and the joy she found in tending her garden. Her kindness, patience, and quiet strength touched everyone who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents and her husband, Delmar Warnock Sr.
Gloria is survived by her children, Delmar Warnock Jr. (Amy) and Tanya Warnock Harden (Stacey); and her cherished grandchildren, Trey, Abigail, Madison, and Clayton.
The family kindly asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Gloria’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, an organization dear to her heart.
Gloria’s warmth, wisdom, and love will be deeply missed but forever remembered by her family and friends.
