Mr. Henry H. Murphy, Sr., age 90, of Marietta, passed away April 8, 2010 at A.G. Rhodes Health and Rehab - Cobb. Mr. Murphy was born December 17, 1919 in Newell, AL to the late Wilson Brannan Murphy and Henry Persha Tennant Murphy. He retired as a Regional Sales Manager for the Chrysler Corporation, and he was preceded in death by his wife, Margie Hadley Murphy in May, 2009.
Funeral services will be held Monday, April 12 at 2:00 PM in Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. David Chauncey and Rev. Ken Ellison officiating. Interment will follow at Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends, Monday 1:00 - 2:00 PM at the funeral home prior to the service.
