Hetty dedicated much of her working life to customer service in the banking industry, where she was known for her kindness, professionalism, and steady compassion for those she served. Her warm spirit and gentle strength touched the lives of many throughout the years.
She is survived by her two sons, Philip Harrington of Kennesaw, Georgia, and Steven Harrington of Hiram, Georgia. Hetty will be remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, a valued friend, and a gracious presence in the lives of all who knew her.
A committal service will be held on December 9th at 12:00 p.m. at Andersonville National Historic Site,
496 Cemetery Road, Andersonville, GA 31711, where she will be laid to rest.
Her family and friends will forever cherish her memory and the love she shared so freely.
