Mr. Hugo was a huge part of my life and family for over 15 years. He was a grandfather to my kids and a great grandfather to the new additions as they were born thruout the years. My fondest memories of him were around the holidays when he would always spoil the kids with bake and fritters. He will be missed very much but at least it gives us all comfort that he has been reunited with all his family and Ms. Blake that have passed away before him.

Hugo and Pat were our neighbors across the street for many years. Our kids grew up together and there are so many happy memories from those years. Hugo had the biggest heart and always greeted me with “Hey Mon!” because it made me laugh. One night a teenager “trudged” our yard leaving tire marks on our lawn, and Hugo ran chasing him through the neighborhood. He was a friend to many and loved his kids so much. RIP, dear Hugo.

Hugo has been a great neighbor for 18 years to us. I know he and Patricia are United again in God’s Grace. Wes, Brian, and Veronica our love and prayers are with you all from this unbelievable year. “May the road rise up to meet you, the wind always be at your back, May the sun shine warm upon your face, and the rains fall soft upon your fields, and until we meet again may god hold you in the palm of his hands.”

I only had the privilege of meeting Mr. Blake one time shortly before he became ill; however, I won’t ever forget the smile he had on his face (even though we were interrupting his dinner), and how his face lit up when he was able to interact with my one year old son, London.....gave each other a high-five.... and then for him to later ask Wes where his little buddy went. Continues to warm my heart. Mr. Blake, you were certainly a very loved man that will be terribly missed, and who won’t ever be forgotten.... Rest in Paradise with Ms. Patricia who I’m sure is very happy that you’re back by her side..... ❤️

Hugo and I were the best of friends and neighbors for many years. We enjoyed cooking together for community picnics. I will never forget the year we were in Tennessee for Thanksgiving and the Blake’s drove all the way from Atlanta to share the holiday with us. It was a pleasant surprise. We were always there for each other. I consider him as a brother. RIP my friend.

Mr. Blake was so kind with a huge heart. I loved chatting with him. He taught me how to make easy quesadillas. His love for his family was incredible.

Mr. B was one of my favorite people in this world. His laugh was so contagious.
He will be missed so so much!
