She married Harmon Lynch, on January 14, 1944 and enjoyed fifty years of marriage until his death in 1994. The majority of their life together was spent in Orangeburg, South Carolina, where they owned and operated a small jewelry store.
Throughout her life she worked ably as a paralegal. Until just recently, she continued to assist others with letter writing and composition efforts.
After retirement, they eventually settled in Marietta, Georgia.
She was a devoted member of Johnson Ferry Baptist Church. She delighted in her Living Proof Sunday School class and served in several leadership positions there throughout her life. She was a strong Christian believer and never failed to share her views.
She had two children, Dan Lynch and Melanie Rogers. She is survived five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
She will be remembered as a God loving, hard working, and warm hearted woman.
We miss her but are thankful that she has gone home to be with the Lord.
