Mrs. Imogene Adams Tessereau, age 77, of Douglasville, passed away August 2, 2011. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Mrs. Tessereau was a member of Mt Nebo UMC. She is survived by her husband of over 61 years, Earnest E. Tessereau, of Douglasville; daughters, Gloria Keown, of Enoree SC, and Paula (husband, Richard) Caputo, of Douglasville; sons, Stephen L. (wife, Angela) Tessereau, of Powder Springs, and Jerry (wife, Debbie) Tessereau, of Douglasville; grandchildren, Troy Tessereau, Missy Cooper, Scott Tessereau, Mandy Caputo and Ricky Caputo; six great-grandchildren; brothers, Billy Moore, of Dallas, and A. C. Fields, of Kennesaw; sister, Gayle Thrasher, of Temple;
Funeral services will be held Friday, August 6, 2011, 12:00 PM in Mt. Nebo UMC with her remains to lie in state at 11:00. Rev. Joe Condra officiating. Interment will follow at Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening, 6-9 pm at the funeral home.
